Day 1: Arrival in Kuta – Bali’s Beachfront Welcome

Upon your arrival at Denpasar via Ngurah Rai International Airport, begin your Bali journey with a short drive to Kuta Beach, one of the island’s most famous stretches of golden sand known for surfing and sunset views. After lunch at a beachfront café featuring Balinese cuisine, visit the lively streets of Kuta for shopping and local markets.

In the evening, drive toward Tanah Lot Temple, the iconic sea temple perched dramatically on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Indian Ocean. Watch the breathtaking sunset before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay in Kuta.

 

Day 2: Kuta to Ubud – Temples & Rice Terraces

After breakfast, drive approximately 40 km (1.5 hours) inland toward Ubud, Bali’s cultural and artistic heart. Your first stop is the sacred Tegenungan Waterfall, surrounded by lush tropical greenery.

Continue toward the famous Tegalalang Rice Terrace to witness Bali’s stunning layered rice fields and traditional subak irrigation system. In the evening, explore the bustling Ubud Art Market and visit Ubud Palace for a traditional Balinese dance performance before overnight stay in Ubud.

 

Day 3: Ubud – Spiritual Bali & Monkey Forests

Begin your morning with a visit to Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, a serene forest temple inhabited by hundreds of playful long-tailed macaques. Afterwards, head to the sacred Tirta Empul Temple, famous for its holy spring water purification rituals.

In the afternoon, drive toward Goa Gajah, also known as the Elephant Cave, an ancient archaeological site dating back to the 9th century. Conclude your evening with a relaxing Balinese spa experience amidst the peaceful jungle surroundings.

 

Day 4: Ubud to Kintamani – Volcanoes & Highland Villages

After breakfast, embark on a scenic 60 km (2-hour) drive toward Kintamani in Bali’s mountainous interior. Stop at the stunning Tegenungan Waterfall viewpoint before continuing toward the dramatic Mount Batur volcanic region.

Enjoy panoramic views of Mount Batur and Lake Batur from local cafés overlooking the crater. Later, visit a traditional Balinese coffee plantation to sample locally produced Luwak coffee and herbal teas. Spend the evening surrounded by cool mountain air before overnight stay in Kintamani.

 

Day 5: Kintamani to Nusa Penida – Island Escape

Check out early and drive back toward the coast for a speedboat transfer to Nusa Penida, a rugged island paradise known for dramatic cliffs and turquoise waters. Upon arrival, visit the iconic Kelingking Beach, famous for its T-Rex-shaped cliff formation overlooking the ocean.

Continue to Angel's Billabong and Broken Beach to witness natural rock arches and crystal-clear tide pools. Relax by the beach before overnight stay on the island.

 

Day 6: Nusa Penida – Beaches & Snorkeling Adventures

Dedicate your day to exploring the island’s pristine coastline and marine life. Begin with snorkeling at Crystal Bay, known for its vibrant coral reefs and tropical fish. Depending on the season, you may also spot manta rays near Manta Point.

In the afternoon, visit the stunning white sands of Diamond Beach and the dramatic cliffside viewpoint at Atuh Beach. End your evening with a peaceful seaside dinner under the stars.

 

Day 7: Nusa Penida to Seminyak – Sunset & Luxury Living

After breakfast, return by speedboat to mainland Bali and drive toward Seminyak, known for upscale beach clubs, cafés, and designer boutiques. Spend your afternoon relaxing at Seminyak Beach or enjoying a beachfront café experience.

In the evening, visit one of Bali’s famous beach clubs for sunset views over the Indian Ocean while enjoying live music and Balinese cuisine. Overnight stay in Seminyak.

 

Day 8: Seminyak to Uluwatu – Clifftop Temples & Ocean Views

Drive approximately 35 km (1.5 hours) south toward Uluwatu on the Bukit Peninsula. Your first stop is the spectacular Uluwatu Temple, perched dramatically on limestone cliffs high above the Indian Ocean.

In the evening, witness the famous Kecak Fire Dance performance held against the backdrop of the sunset and crashing waves below the temple. Later, enjoy a seafood dinner at Jimbaran Bay before overnight stay in Uluwatu.

 

Day 9: Uluwatu – Beaches & Water Adventures

Spend your day exploring Bali’s southern beaches beginning with Padang Padang Beach, a hidden cove surrounded by rocky cliffs and turquoise waters. Continue toward Nusa Dua Beach for optional water sports such as parasailing, jet skiing, and banana boat rides.

In the late afternoon, relax at a cliffside café overlooking the ocean while enjoying Bali’s famous tropical sunsets. Conclude your evening with a farewell Balinese dinner featuring satay, nasi goreng, and seafood specialties.

 

Day 10: Uluwatu to Denpasar – Departure from Paradise

On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before driving approximately 20 km (45 minutes) toward Denpasar for your departure. If time permits, stop at local handicraft markets for Balinese souvenirs, handmade wood carvings, batik textiles, and aromatic coffee.

Proceed to Ngurah Rai International Airport for your onward flight, bringing your 10-day Balinese island adventure of temples, volcanoes, beaches, and tropical landscapes to a memorable close.

Continue onward to the famous Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, home to ancient temples and playful long-tailed macaques. In the afternoon, stroll through the vibrant Ubud Art Market and visit nearby rice terraces before concluding your day with a traditional Balinese dance performance.

 

Day 3: Ubud to Kintamani – Volcanoes & Temple Lakes

Begin your morning with a scenic 50 km (2-hour) drive toward Kintamani, a highland region known for volcanic landscapes and cool mountain air. Your first stop is the famous Tegallalang Rice Terraces, where layered emerald-green paddies create one of Bali’s most photographed landscapes.

Continue toward Mount Batur for panoramic views of the active volcano and crater lake. After lunch overlooking the mountains, visit the sacred Ulun Danu Batur Temple, one of Bali’s most important Hindu temples dedicated to the goddess of water. Drive approximately 35 km (1.5 hours depending on traffic) toward Seminyak, Bali’s upscale beach destination known for stylish cafés, boutique shopping, and luxury beach clubs. Spend your morning exploring Seminyak Village or relaxing at Seminyak Beach.

In the afternoon, visit the majestic Uluwatu Temple, dramatically located on limestone cliffs overlooking the ocean. Stay for the famous Kecak Fire Dance performance during sunset, where traditional chants and fire rituals create a mesmerizing cultural experience.
