Day 1: Arrival & Transition to Paradise
Arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) or Phuket and catch a ferry to the Phi Phi Islands. The sea crossing from Phuket is roughly 46 km and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. After docking at Ao Ton Sai Pier, check into your beach resort and spend the evening enjoying the fire shows and vibrant atmosphere of Tonsai Village.
Day 2: Iconic Lagoons & Sunset Vistas
Spend the day on a speedboat tour visiting the southern uninhabited island of Phi Phi Leh. You'll stop at the famous Maya Bay and the emerald waters of Pileh Lagoon. In the late afternoon, take a 20-minute hike up to Phi Phi Viewpoint 2 for a spectacular sunset view over the twin bays, followed by a 1.5 km stroll back to the village for dinner.
Day 3: Crossing to the Mainland
After a relaxed morning, board the afternoon ferry to Krabi. The journey to Klong Jilad Pier Krabi covers 40 km and takes approximately 90 minutes. From the pier, a 20 km drive (30 minutes) brings you to Ao Nang Beach, your home base for the next few days.
Day 4: The Hidden Peninsula of Railay
Take a 15-minute longtail boat ride (3 km) to Railay Beach. Since it's cut off by limestone cliffs, this beach is only accessible by water. Spend the day exploring the Phra Nang Cave, watching rock climbers, or kayaking around the karst formations before returning to Ao Nang in the evening.
Day 5: The Famous 4-Islands Tour
Embark on a classic boat tour of the nearby archipelago, including Koh Poda and Chicken Island. The highlight is the "Divided Sea" sandbar between Tup and Mor islands, roughly 8 km offshore. These islands are perfect for snorkeling in shallow coral reefs and enjoying a picnic lunch on the sand.
Day 6: Rainforests and Natural Pools
Travel 70 km inland (approx. 1 hour 15 minutes) to the Emerald Pool. Walk through a short jungle trail to swim in the crystal-clear mineral waters. Nearby, you can also visit the Klong Thom Hot Springs to soak in natural thermal "jacuzzis" carved into the rock.
Day 7: Temples and Panoramic Heights
Visit Wat Tham Suea, also known as the Tiger Cave Temple, located 20 km from the coast. Brave the 1,237-step climb to the summit for a 360-degree view of the Krabi province. In the evening, explore the Krabi Town Night Market for authentic local street food.
Day 8: Serenity at Hong Islands
Take a 20 km speedboat ride to the Hong Islands. Unlike the busy 4-Islands tour, this area is known for its quiet hidden lagoon and a spectacular 360-degree wooden viewpoint. It's an ideal spot for paddleboarding or simply lounging on the white powdery sand.
Day 9: Overland to Phuket
Check out and begin the 165 km drive to Phuket, a journey of approximately 3 hours. After checking into your hotel in Patong or Karon, head to the Big Buddha Phuket for evening views. End your night with a visit to the bustling Bangla Road for world-famous nightlife.
Day 10: Old Town Culture & Promthep Cape
Start your day in Old Phuket Town, about 15 km from the main beaches, to see the colorful Sino-Portuguese architecture and local boutiques. In the afternoon, drive 25 km south to Promthep Cape, the island's southernmost point, to witness its legendary coastal sunset.
Day 11: Final Shopping & Departure
Enjoy a final swim or a visit to Siam Paragon for last-minute souvenirs. Ensure you leave for the airport at least 4 hours before your flight; the drive to Suvarnabhumi Airport or the local Phuket terminal is roughly 30–40 km and can take up to 75 minutes in traffic.
