Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi – Old Quarter & Lakeside Culture

Upon your arrival via Noi Bai International Airport, begin your Vietnam journey with a relaxing exploration of the city’s charming French-colonial streets and vibrant local culture.

Visit the peaceful and the iconic red-painted The Huc Bridge leading to Ngoc Son Temple. Wander through the bustling Old Quarter, famous for its narrow alleyways, local cafés, and traditional street food vendors.

After lunch featuring authentic Pho or Bun Cha, enjoy an evening cyclo ride through the historic district before ending your day with a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show.

 

Day 2: Hanoi to Ninh Binh – Limestone Landscapes & Ancient Capitals

After breakfast, drive approximately 95 km (2 hours) south toward , often called “Halong Bay on land” for its dramatic limestone mountains and river valleys.

Begin with a peaceful boat ride through , where rivers weave through caves, temples, and towering karst formations.

Continue to the ancient capital to explore Vietnam’s early royal history. In the evening, climb to the panoramic viewpoint at Mua Cave for sunset over rice paddies and limestone peaks.

 

Day 3: Ninh Binh to Halong Bay – Overnight Cruise Experience

Begin your morning with a scenic drive approximately 180 km (3.5 -- 4 hours) toward the UNESCO-listed .

Board a traditional overnight cruise and sail through emerald waters scattered with limestone islands and floating fishing villages. Enjoy fresh seafood lunch onboard while cruising past dramatic karst formations.

In the afternoon, visit hidden caves, kayak through peaceful lagoons, or relax on the sundeck while enjoying sunset views over the bay. Spend the night onboard amidst the tranquil waters.

 

Day 4: Halong Bay to Hoi An – Lantern Streets & Riverside Charm

Wake up early for sunrise over Halong Bay before returning to the harbor. Later, take a domestic flight from Hanoi to via Da Nang.

Upon arrival, explore the beautifully preserved , famous for its yellow heritage buildings, lantern-lit streets, and riverside cafés.

Visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, browse tailor shops and handicraft markets, and enjoy a peaceful evening boat ride along the Thu Bon River surrounded by glowing lanterns.

 

Day 5: Hoi An – Coconut Forests & Beach Relaxation

After breakfast, head toward the nearby area for a traditional basket boat ride through lush coconut forests.

Learn about local fishing traditions before returning to town for lunch featuring Cao Lau noodles or White Rose dumplings.

In the afternoon, relax at , known for soft sands and laid-back beach cafés. End your evening with lantern shopping and riverside dining in the Ancient Town.

 

Day 6: Da Nang & Ba Na Hills – Golden Bridge Adventure

Drive approximately 40 km (1 hour) toward one of Vietnam’s most modern coastal cities.

Visit the famous via one of the world’s longest cable car rides. Explore the iconic Golden Bridge, dramatically held by giant stone hands overlooking misty mountains.

Spend the afternoon exploring hilltop gardens, French-inspired architecture, and panoramic mountain scenery before returning to Da Nang or Hoi An for overnight stay.

 

Day 7: Da Nang to Hue – Imperial Vietnam & Coastal Passes

Begin your day with a scenic drive approximately 100 km (3 hours including stops) toward via the spectacular Hai Van Pass.

Upon arrival, explore the historic , former royal capital of the Nguyen Dynasty featuring ancient palaces, gates, and temples.

Later, cruise along the Perfume River and visit the elegant Thien Mu Pagoda before enjoying a traditional royal-style Vietnamese dinner.

 

Day 8: Hue to Ho Chi Minh City – Urban Energy & Rooftop Views

Take a morning flight toward Vietnam's energetic southern metropolis.

Visit major landmarks including Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, and the Central Post Office.

In the evening, explore rooftop cafés, vibrant nightlife streets, and local food markets while experiencing the city’s modern energy and historic charm.

 

Day 9: Mekong Delta – Floating Markets & Village Life

After breakfast, drive approximately 70–90 km (2 hours) toward the lush region.

Cruise through winding canals lined with coconut palms and traditional riverside villages. Visit local farms, tropical fruit orchards, and handicraft workshops while learning about life along the Mekong River. Enjoy authentic southern Vietnamese cuisine before returning to Ho Chi Minh City for your final evening.

 

Day 10: Cu Chi Tunnels & Departure

On your final day, visit the historic , extensive underground network used during the Vietnam War.

Explore sections of the tunnels, learn about wartime history, and discover hidden command centers and survival systems.

Later, proceed toward Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your onward journey, bringing your 10-day Vietnam adventure to a memorable close.
