Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati – Drive to Bhalukpong
Upon your arrival in Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, begin your journey towards Bhalukpong, located at the foothills of Arunachal Pradesh (approximately 260 km / 6–7 hours drive).
Enjoy a scenic drive through river valleys, tea gardens, and forested landscapes. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the evening relaxing by the Kameng River in a peaceful natural setting.
Overnight stay in Bhalukpong.
Day 2: Bhalukpong to Dirang – Scenic Mountain Journey
After breakfast, proceed towards Dirang (approximately 140 km / 5–6 hours drive). The journey offers beautiful views of mountains, rivers, and deep valleys of Arunachal Pradesh.
En route, enjoy the changing landscape as you ascend into higher Himalayan terrain. Upon arrival in Dirang, visit the Dirang Monastery and relax at the natural hot water springs known for their therapeutic value.
Overnight stay in Dirang.
Day 3: Dirang to Tawang – Sela Pass Experience
After breakfast, begin your drive towards Tawang (approximately 130 km / 6–7 hours). The route passes through the majestic Sela Pass at 13,700 ft and the scenic Sela Lake surrounded by snow-clad mountains.
Continue the journey through winding Himalayan roads and arrive in Tawang by evening. Check into your hotel and relax.

Day 4: Tawang Local Sightseeing – Monasteries & Culture
After breakfast, explore the beautiful town of Tawang, one of the most important Buddhist centers in India.
Visit the famous Tawang Monastery, the largest monastery in India, followed by the War Memorial dedicated to Indian soldiers. Later, explore Buddha Park and the local markets to experience Tibetan-influenced culture and lifestyle.
Overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 5: Tawang – Bumla Pass Excursion
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Bumla Pass (subject to permit and weather conditions), located at the Indo-China border.
En route, visit the stunning Madhuri Lake (Sangetsar Lake), known for its surreal beauty and cinematic landscapes. After exploring the region, return to Tawang by evening.
Overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 6: Tawang to Bomdila – Return Journey
After breakfast, drive back towards Bomdila (approximately 170 km / 6–7 hours drive). The route offers breathtaking views of the Eastern Himalayas.
Upon arrival, visit the Bomdila Monastery and enjoy panoramic views from local viewpoints overlooking the valley.
Overnight stay in Bomdila.
Day 7: Bomdila to Tezpur – Plains of Assam
After breakfast, proceed towards Tezpur (approximately 150 km / 5–6 hours drive). Descend from the mountains into the lush green plains of Assam.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure or explore the Brahmaputra riverside.
Overnight stay in Tezpur.
Day 8: Tezpur to Guwahati – Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati (approximately 180 km / 4–5 hours drive).
Optionally, visit Nameri National Park en route depending on time availability. Upon arrival in Guwahati, transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
Tour Ends with Wonderful Memories of Arunachal Pradesh’s Snow Peaks, Monasteries, Valleys, and Himalayan Beauty.
