

HIMACHAL PRADESH
Day 1: Amritsar to Dharamshala
Upon your arrival at Amritsar Junction or the Airport, you will begin a 205 km drive(approximately 4.5 to 5 hours) toward Dharamshala. Your first major break occurs at the Ranjit Sagar Dam near Pathankot, roughly 110 km (2 hours 30 minutes) from Amritsar,where you can enjoy the serene reservoir views. Continuing for another 75 km (2hours), you have the option to visit the historic Kangra Fort to witness its ancient stone
architecture and valley vistas. The final 20 km leg (45 minutes) brings you into the highlands where you will check into the nearby hotel) to enjoy a warm welcome and arelaxing dinner in the cooler mountain air before your overnight stay.
Day 2: Dharamshala & McLeod Ganj Local
Your morning begins in the spiritual hub of McLeod Ganj with a visit to the Tsuglagkhang Complex (Dalai Lama Temple), the residence of His Holiness. From here, it is a brief 500-meter walk or drive (2 minutes) to the Namgyal Monastery to observe the monks in prayer. Next, a 2 km drive (15 minutes) takes you to the refreshing Bhagsu Nag Waterfall, followed by a short downhill stroll to the ancient Bhagsu temple. To conclude the day’s sightseeing, you will take a 6 km drive (20 minutes) down to the HPCA Stadium to admire the world-class cricket ground against its snow-capped backdrop, before returning to your hotel for a second night.
Day 3: Dharamshala to Dalhousie.
After breakfast, you will depart for Dalhousie, covering a total distance of 120 km(approximately 3.5 to 4 hours). The highlight of this transit is a detour to Khajjiar Lake, located 98 km (3 hours) from Dharamshala; here you can spend time in the "Mini Switzerland of India" enjoying the cedar-fringed meadows. A short 5 km drive (15 minutes) from the lake brings you to the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary for a brief nature walk. The final 17 km leg (45 minutes) takes you into Dalhousie for a seamless check-in
at nearby hotel for an evening of relaxation
Day 4: Dalhousie to Manali
Following breakfast, you will embark on the most significant drive of your trip, covering approximately 345 km to 390 km (roughly 9 to 10 hours) toward Manali. This scenic route takes you through the heart of Himachal via Mandi and the Pandoh Dam, where you can take a brief break. Upon arrival in the evening, proceed directly to your hotel inOld Manali for a seamless check-in and a relaxing dinner at one of the riverside cafes before your overnight stay.
Day 5: Manali Local & Spiritual Sightseeing
Spend the day exploring Manali’s cultural landmarks, all within a 5 km radius. Start at the wooden Hadimba Devi Temple, then take a 500-meter walk to the Museum of Himachal Culture & Folk Art to see traditional artifacts. A 3 km drive (15 minutes) takes you to the Vashisht Hot Water Springs and temple. Finally, head to the Himalayan
Nyinmapa Buddhist Monastery (2 km away) before concluding your evening at the Mall Road Market for local shopping.
Day 6: Manali to Chandigarh Airport & Departure
On your final day, you will begin the 280 km descent (7.5 to 9 hours) toward the plains of Chandigarh. Utilizing the Kiratpur-Nerchowk Expressway helps navigate the lower hills more efficiently. You will proceed directly to the Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, Chandigarh, arriving at least 2 hours before your scheduled flight
to conclude your Himalayan adventure.
