Day 1: Mumbai – Nashik | Temples, Panchavati & Sula Vineyards

Begin your journey from Mumbai and drive to Nashik

(approximately 170 km / 4 hrs), one of Maharashtra’s most sacred cities situated on the banks of the Godavari River.

Upon arrival, visit the holy Ram Kund, an important pilgrimage site associated with the Ramayana. Continue to the historic Kala Ram Temple and explore the Panchavati area.

Later, visit Sula Vineyards, where you can enjoy the scenic vineyard surroundings, optional wine tasting, and beautiful sunset views before returning to your hotel.

Day 2: Trimbakeshwar – Aurangabad | Jyotirlinga & Mughal Heritage

After breakfast, drive to Trimbakeshwar (approximately 30 km / 45 mins) and visit the revered Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva.

After darshan, continue to Aurangabad (Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar) (approximately 180 km / 4 hrs). Upon arrival, visit the magnificent Bibi Ka Maqbara, often referred to as the “Taj of the Deccan.”

Spend the evening exploring markets famous for Paithani sarees, Himroo textiles, and traditional handicrafts.

Overnight Stay: Aurangabad

Day 3: Ellora Caves & Grishneshwar | UNESCO Heritage

After breakfast, drive to Ellora Caves (approximately 30 km / 45 mins), a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring remarkable Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain rock-cut monuments.

Explore the magnificent Kailasa Temple, carved from a single rock and considered one of India’s greatest architectural masterpieces.

Later, visit the nearby Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple. If time permits, make a brief stop at the historic Daulatabad Fort before returning to Aurangabad.

Day 4: Ajanta Caves | Ancient Buddhist Masterpieces

After an early breakfast, drive to the UNESCO-listed Ajanta Caves (approximately 100 km / 2.5 hrs).

Spend the day exploring the ancient Buddhist cave monasteries, prayer halls, sculptures, and world-famous murals depicting the life of Buddha and the Jataka tales.

After sightseeing, return to Aurangabad (approximately 100 km / 2.5 hrs) and enjoy a relaxed evening.

Day 5: Aurangabad – Departure | Shopping & Leisure

After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning exploring Aurangabad’s famous shopping areas. Browse for authentic Paithani sarees, Himroo shawls, Bidri handicrafts, local artifacts, and traditional Maharashtrian souvenirs.

You may also visit Panchakki or spend some free time before your departure.

Later, proceed to Aurangabad Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey or begin your return drive to Mumbai

(approximately 330 km / 7-8 hrs).
