Leh Ladakh

Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization

Your journey begins with your arrival at Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, where a short 15-minute transfer (5 km) takes you to your hotel for check-in. Due to the high altitude of Leh, the first day is reserved for complete rest and acclimatization to help your body adjust comfortably. Meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served at the hotel to ensure proper hydration and relaxation. In the evening, if health permits, enjoy a gentle visit to the peaceful Shanti Stupa for sunset views followed by a short walk through Leh Main Market before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Leh Sightseeing – Sham Valley Circuit

After breakfast, begin your sightseeing tour covering the famous Sham Valley circuit around Leh. Start with a visit to the Hall of Fame Museum, followed by Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and the mysterious Magnetic Hill where vehicles appear to move uphill naturally. Continue towards the Sangam Point, the beautiful confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers, where optional river rafting activities can be enjoyed during the season. Lunch will be served at a local café en route offering North Indian and Tibetan delicacies. Return to Leh by evening for leisure time, dinner, and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass

After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the spectacular drive towards Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass, one of the world’s highest motorable roads situated at 18,380 feet. Enjoy breathtaking mountain landscapes and snow-covered peaks during the journey. After descending into Nubra Valley, stop for lunch at Khalsar village before proceeding towards Hunder Sand Dunes. Upon arrival, check into your desert camp and relax amidst the stunning cold desert scenery. In the evening, enjoy a double-humped camel safari across the sand dunes before dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 4: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route

After breakfast at the camp, continue your adventurous journey towards the mesmerizing Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok River route. This remote drive offers dramatic landscapes, river crossings, and breathtaking Himalayan views throughout the journey. En route, stop at small villages for a simple local lunch before reaching Pangong Lake by evening. Famous for its ever-changing shades of blue, the lake offers one of the most magical sunset experiences in Ladakh. Check into your lakeside camp, enjoy dinner, and spend the night under the star-lit sky beside Pangong Lake.

Day 5: Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La Pass

Wake up early to witness a beautiful sunrise over Pangong Lake followed by breakfast at the camp. Later, begin your return journey to Leh via Chang La Pass, one of the highest mountain passes in the region. En route, visit the famous Thiksey Monastery, known for its stunning architecture and giant Maitreya Buddha statue, followed by a visit to the historic Shey Palace. Stop for lunch at Karu before continuing towards Leh. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the evening exploring Leh Market for shopping, local cafés, and souvenirs before your farewell dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Departure from Leh
