Day 1: Arrive in Leh | Rest & Acclimatise

Upon arrival at Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, transfer to your hotel (5 km / 15 mins) and complete the check-in formalities.

As Leh is situated at a high altitude, the remainder of the day is reserved for rest and acclimatisation. Avoid strenuous activities and allow your body to adjust to the Himalayan altitude.

Day 2: Leh – Sham Valley – Leh

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Sham Valley

(95 km round trip / 5-6 hrs).

Visit the Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, the famous Magnetic Hill, and the spectacular Sangam, where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet. You may also enjoy optional river rafting at Sangam (subject to weather and operational availability).

Return to Leh by evening.

Day 3: Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardung La

After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley (128 km / 5-6 hrs) via Khardung La Pass (17,582 ft).

Visit the ancient Diskit Monastery and the towering Maitreya Buddha statue, then continue to the Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy an optional ride on the famous double-humped Bactrian camels.

Day 4: Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake via Shyok

After breakfast, drive to Pangong Lake (170 km / 6-7 hrs) via the scenic Shyok River route.

Pass through remote Ladakhi villages and dramatic mountain landscapes before reaching the breathtaking Pangong Tso, the famous high-altitude lake known for its ever-changing shades of blue.

Day 5: Pangong Lake – Leh via Chang La

Early in the morning, enjoy the beautiful sunrise over Pangong Lake.

After breakfast, drive back to Leh (143 km / 5-6 hrs) via Chang La Pass (17,590 ft). En route, visit the magnificent Thiksey Monastery and the historic Shey Palace before arriving in Leh by evening.

Day 6: Leh Local Sightseeing & Markets

After breakfast, explore the cultural attractions of Leh (20 km / 2-3 hrs).

Visit the historic Leh Palace and the iconic Shanti Stupa, which offers panoramic views of Leh and the surrounding mountains. Spend the evening exploring the vibrant Leh Main Market for Tibetan handicrafts, pashmina products, prayer flags, and local souvenirs.

Day 7: Depart from Leh

After breakfast, transfer to Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport

(5 km / 15 mins) for your onward journey.
