Day 1: Arrival in Bhopal – City of Lakes & Heritage

Upon your arrival in Bhopal, begin your journey exploring the cultural and historical charm of Madhya Pradesh’s capital city.

Visit the scenic Upper Lake, one of the oldest man-made lakes in India, perfect for a peaceful evening stroll or boat ride. Later, explore the fascinating Tribal Museum showcasing the art, traditions, and lifestyle of central India’s tribal communities.

Spend your evening exploring local markets and tasting traditional dishes such as poha, bhutte ka kees, and kebabs before overnight stay in Bhopal.

 

Day 2: Bhopal to Sanchi & Bhimbetka – Buddhist & Prehistoric Wonders

After breakfast, drive approximately 50 km (1.5 hours) to Sanchi, home to one of India’s most important Buddhist heritage sites.

Visit the UNESCO-listed Sanchi Stupa, built by Emperor Ashoka and admired for its beautifully carved gateways depicting Buddhist teachings and stories.

Later, continue toward Bhimbetka Rock Shelters, famous for prehistoric cave paintings dating back thousands of years. Explore ancient rock art and natural sandstone formations before returning to Bhopal by evening.

Day 3: Bhopal to Pachmarhi – Queen of Satpura

After breakfast, begin your scenic drive toward Pachmarhi, approximately 200 km (5–6 hours) away and known as the “Queen of Satpura.”

Upon arrival, enjoy the peaceful hill-station atmosphere surrounded by forests and waterfalls. Visit the scenic Bee Falls and later explore Pandav Caves, associated with legends from the Mahabharata.

Spend your evening amidst cool mountain weather and lush greenery before overnight stay in Pachmarhi.

 

Day 4: Pachmarhi – Waterfalls, Caves & Sunset Points

Spend the day exploring the natural beauty of Pachmarhi. Begin with a visit to Jata Shankar Cave, a sacred cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva surrounded by unique rock formation

Later, visit scenic viewpoints such as Dhoopgarh, the highest point in Madhya Pradesh and famous for spectacular sunset views over the Satpura hills.

You may also enjoy short forest treks, waterfalls, and local markets before concluding your day with a peaceful evening in the hills.

 

Day 5: Pachmarhi to Jabalpur – Marble Rocks & River Beauty

After breakfast, drive toward Jabalpur, approximately 250 km (5–6 hours) away.

Upon arrival, visit the stunning Bhedaghat, famous for its towering marble rock formations along the Narmada River. Enjoy a peaceful boat ride through the marble gorge and later witness the spectacular Dhuandhar Falls, where the Narmada cascades dramatically through rocky cliffs.

Spend your evening exploring local handicraft markets and riverside cafés before overnight stay in Jabalpur.

 

Day 6: Jabalpur – Departure

Begin your morning with a relaxed visit to nearby temples or local markets in Jabalpur.

If time permits, explore additional viewpoints around Bhedaghat or enjoy a peaceful riverside walk along the Narmada.After breakfast and sightseeing, transfer to Jabalpur Airport or Railway

Station for your onward journey, concluding your memorable 6-day Madhya Pradesh heritage, nature, and spiritual trail.
